Looks good! Maybe you can put one of your new switches in the bathroom so in the morning you can just reach over and hit the remote and the tile floor will be warm when you get up to go shower?? Just a thought! LOL :) Glad you’re getting things almost done. We’re very happy for you, Jen, and Bella, and your new home! :) You’ll really enjoy it this spring when you can all get outdoors in the back yard and not be stuck up on the 2nd floor of an apartment like you have been for 2+ years.

2+ years? I lived in Twosouth since 2003, so it’s been like 5 years. :) The house held up last night in the winds! We laid there for about an hour saying “what was that? Did you hear that? What was that noise?” and I eventually went outside to make sure someone wasn’t climbing around on our roof. :)

Good idea on the switch, I’ll have to see what I can do….. :)

wow…..I’m so impressed!! It looks so good…it almost makes me think we should try to tile our bathroom…but then reality hits and I imagine that we start the project and then realize we need to replace the entire subfloor, find some problem with the way the toilet sits on the floor, need to buy new baseboards, and a myriad of other catastrophes…..

But next time you visit Springfield you could always swing by for a few hours….!!

  4. Bradjward says:

    Replace Subfloor = Check.
Toilet Leak on re-install = Check.
New Baseboards for whole bathroom and closet = Check.

Funny you mention all those, because it’s exactly what happened to us! :) I guess I’m glad I didn’t know those types of problems existed going in to the project, haha!!

I think it’d probably take me a few good weekends(months?), but I can definitely get your carpet/floor ripped out in a few hours and then head out! ;) That was the fun part.

  5. Really ,a good video that shows the importance of bathroom tiles and why we ignore our bathroom ,we can make them better by beautiful bathroom tiles.
