The Madden Curse

I’m pretty pumped to see if THE MADDEN CURSE (echo it when you say it for effect) ruins the season for Vince Young. It’s a well known fact that after you get placed on the cover of a Madden video game, your year quickly spirals to a horrific train wreck of Pop Warner play. Seriously, the CURSE is so bad that it has its own Wikipedia page, detailing every victim.

Titans play the Colts (my Colts? Did you see the Bears yesterday?) this weekend, and I’m going to put it out there that in the 2nd quarter, Gary Brackett will bust through on a blitz and snap Young’s leg, somewhere between the thigh and the ankle. It won’t be pretty.

If it happens, I told you so. If it doesn’t, keep your eye out. Something will happen. THE MADDEN CURSE doesn’t lie, and it doesn’t take no for an answer.

If asked to be on a Madden cover some day, will I do it? Heck yes. Wouldn’t you?

Brad Jinxed ourselves today by mentioning travel luck lately. Delayed, missed connection, lost upgrade and 2 hours late getting home. But, 5000 free miles. Delta knows how to keep me happy. :).
