Lots going on lately. Let me update you using pics. Flickr finally released a decent slideshow embed feature, so it’s much easier for me to pull pictures out and post them.

First up, Georg and Martin visited Jen and I in Indy for the weekend! They got in on Friday afternoon, and we spent the afternoon catching up from when we last saw each other 2 years ago. They come back over from Germany every few years, which is pretty awesome.
So Friday night we went to the Fishers v. Noblesville game at Lucas Oil Stadium, the new home of the Colts. It was the first football game in the new stadium, which was pretty awesome. We got down to about the 8th row for $10, try that during the regular season. After that we did the obligatory Duckpin Bowling trip at Fountain Square.
When we got home we were sitting around sometime after midnight, deciding what to do on Saturday. I mentioned Barack Obama was going to be in town, and they were really interested in seeing him. I was excited to hear him in Springfield as well, so Jen decided to come along and we packed up and hit the road around 8am Saturday.
After that we said our goodbyes
TUESDAY night our softball team (WRCC2) played the other team from White River (WRCC1). We came out on top of both games of the doubleheader. Everyone played great, and we hit really well. We had 18 hits to their 8 during the first game, and only left a handful on base. The second game went just as well. Due to a toe injury (don’t ask), I was a DH and went 3-3, keeping my BA in the low .900’s.
The pictures from the game are compliments @jamiehs. @fjgaylor came to the game since he is in town and we hit up Handel’s for ice cream afterwards. YUM.
Unplugging for Labor Day weekend, see you Tuesday!
