Florida was great. Jen, Tyler and Jess flew in on Friday after my presentation and we enjoyed 3 days of sun and fun. Very relaxing. Great times.

As you know, I love numbers. So then I saw a neat site that integrated into Twitter, and I was sold.
The site: www.fuelfrog.com
What I do: Send a message on Twitter to @fuelfrog, stating my MPG (Miles driven, price paid, gallons purchased). It looks something like this:

That’s it. It’s as quick as a text message, and it automatically gets put into my (free) account on fuelfrog.com. So when I log into fuelfrog.com, I am shown this:

We are coming up on the 1 Year Anniversary of blog.bradjward.com, and it’s been pretty fun so far. Let’s reminisce.

Call it a hobby, call it a job, call it a professional development opportunity, call it whatever you want.  Just round up $50 and join me for the Indiana Blog Conference in Fall 2008. More information can be found at: https://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/indiana-blog-conference.
I think this would be a great thing for the city of Indy to host, and I hope to be a part of the planning/presenting side as well.
The way thepoint.com works is that you pledge to pay the $49 fee assuming the 200 user mark is reached. If/When it is, your credit card would then get charged. So it won’t be charged for several months. So no holiday credit card maxing to worry about.
Seriously, come with me.

It’s about time. Sometimes the 13th largest city in the US gets treated like the 30th due to the midwestern location.
Google released Street Map View for Indy today. At least I know where I was when they did this. I wish I had been outside with Bella!!!!

I’d give you the low-down on my weekend, but I don’t want to stun the entire blogosphere. Haha, classic. But seriously, it was a good weekend. Glad my parents could make it to the Butler/OSU game (and see us win! Was looking iffy in the 1st half). Got a lot done on Sunday and wanted to sleep in until noon today. I wish we worked 4/were off 3. That would be nice.
I’ll leave you with a random video today: What happens when you put a cat in zero gravity. Horrible music selection, but funny video.

Yes, it was a bummer to watch the Colts lose on Sunday night. But all things considered, it was great. Since we were front row, we were at the mercy of the fans around us when it came to standing the whole game to take photos. Had the Colts been up 23-0 in the first half, we would have been jeered all night by the people around us. Instead, the whole stadium was on its feet all night long. We had a good time heckling the people around us back and forth (for the most part), and it was a good game to watch.
The events that took place after the game were even more interesting, which started with us huddling with other Colts fans through the exits during a near-riot situation and having taking the Walk of Shame through the tailgating section in an effort to avoid 30,000+ trying to enter the mass transit trolley system. We ended up jumping a fence and climbing a hill leading up to the back of an IKEA, but it saved us a few hours. After making it from the trolley to the bus, we encountered more drunks who asked us if the guy they met from Indy was our Dad (because there had to be only 3 people from Indy at the game), and then walking down some scary roads for about 1 mile with everyone honking and yelling COLTS SUCK at us. Welcome to San Diego!
Overall, the trip was great. Got back laaaaaate last night, and I’m dragging today. Midterm at 6:15pm, class until 10, work tomorrow, then maybe I will finally get to spend some time with my wife!

Well, it went as planned.
Final bid sits at $1070. As previously mentioned, tickets were sitting at $810 with 24 hours left. Previous data told me I could expect 7-12 bids (average of 9.33) for a $175-415 (average of $285) increase in the last 24 hours, and the lower the amount of bids the lower the ending price.
The last 24 hours generated 9 bids (4% below average) for a $260 increase (9% below average).
How is it that I love number so much, but I just got a 70% on my stats test Tuesday? Ugh. Give me an MBA440: Flipping Tickets on eBay class and I’ll get an A. Heck, I’d teach the thing.
